everyday drawing
The last fifteen years I have been working on "everyday drawing with the Bic ballpoint". I draw the clouds in the sky, every day, and when there are none I choose other subjects. I even became a member of the Cloud appreciation society! I learn how to draw better, I also go back to my own work and archive and I respond to that by drawing. Sometimes a new layer or meaning is created in the drawing. Drawing goes straight from the brain through your arm to your hand via the pen on the paper! It brings focus and a new "look" at your own work. Sometimes there are extra layers, translations of the atmosphere or mood that you are currently in. Creating drawings with a Bic ballpoint pen can be done anywhere but erasure and improvement is not possible! Every line you draw has to be used and there are no quick visual solutions. For depth and contrast and a little result I draw longer with the Bic ballpoint than I would with other materials. In short, drawing with the Bic ballpoint pen provides a different pace, in the process of creating and in motor skills, in everything actually.

My palette has now expanded to include the chalk markers from Securit. Every day, I draw on windows with chalk pens. This medium brings a completely different approach. It requires a spontaneous, fast way of drawing, allowing me to explore various styles and techniques: graphic, painterly in layers, transparent, figurative, abstract, and monumental. The surface is not limited to windows; I also draw on mirrors, ceramics, or canvas and paper.

Depuis quinze ans, je travaille sur "le dessin quotidien avec le stylo bille Bic". Je dessine les nuages dans le ciel, chaque jour, et quand il n'y en a pas, je choisis d'autres sujets. Je suis même devenu membre de la Cloud Appreciation Society ! J'apprends à mieux dessiner, je retourne aussi vers mon propre travail et mon archive, et j'y réponds par le dessin. Parfois, une nouvelle couche ou signification se crée dans le dessin. Le dessin va directement du cerveau à votre bras, à votre main, via le stylo sur le papier ! Cela apporte de la concentration et un nouveau "regard" sur votre propre travail. Parfois, il y a des couches supplémentaires, des traductions de l'atmosphère ou de l'humeur dans laquelle vous vous trouvez. Créer des dessins avec un stylo bille Bic peut se faire n'importe où, mais l'effacement et l'amélioration ne sont pas possibles ! Chaque ligne que vous tracez doit être utilisée et il n'y a pas de solutions visuelles rapides. Pour la profondeur et le contraste et un petit résultat, je dessine plus longtemps avec le stylo bille Bic que je ne le ferais avec d'autres matériaux. En résumé, dessiner avec un stylo bille Bic offre un rythme différent, dans le processus de création et dans les compétences motrices, en fait dans tout.
